Jay Garrick, Hunter Zolomon, Zoom and the man in the mask [Everything explained][ The Jay Zoom theory ]

The Jay-Hunter-Zoom-MaskedMan paradox

Every since the last episode of The Flash, the only thing on my mind (and presumably on yours too) has been “The Jay-Hunter-Zoom-MaskedMan paradox“. Yes, that’s what I’m calling it. This is going to be a very long article and will cover EVERYTHING that happened on the Flash this season and how it all fits into Zoom’s plan. We are going to discuss each and every Jay Zoom theory .

Ok, so the season’s main plot began with the introduction of Zoom when Al Rothstein, the villain of the first episode was about to die. He told Barry that Zoom had sent him to kill Barry. The next big thing was the introduction of Jay Garrick, a man who said that he was the Flash of Earth-2.

In the second episode of the season itself, he teaches Barry how to create and use lightening by his speed. Eventually Harrison Wells of Earth-2 or Harry also arrives and does not get a warm welcome even though he saved Barry from a behemoth, A shark humanoid twice the size of Barry. At the end of episode 5, we can see that Zoom had Harry’s daughter captive. Episode 6 is the first time, we actually get to see Zoom in action apart from Jay’s Flashback which may or may not be true[We’ll get back to that later on]. Zoom defeats Barry and proudly shows him defeated to the whole city. After all this, Jay is finally accepted into the “Team Flash”

The rest of the season has bits and pieces but then come the two Earth-2 episodes. Barry goes to Earth-2,bla bla bla and Finally he is captured by Zoom and put in room with Jesse Wells and a man in an iron mask. Also, in this very episode Jay reveals to Caitlin that he invented Velocity-6 on his Earth and that it is the real reason why he lost his speed and is dying. In the next episode, Caitlin is able to synthesize Velocity-9 which starts to cure Jay Garrick. Before Barry escapes from Zoom’s lair, he is able to decipher what the man in the mask was trying to say.

Flash man in the iron mask

He spelled J-A-Y. But why would he do that? Anyways, after escaping from Zoom’s layer, Barry and the rest come back from Earth-2, Jay almost closes the breach and then very stupidly goes and stands right next to it, which actually looked quite staged. Poor writing or was it intentional? We’ll get back to that. Anyways Finally Zoom’s identity is revealed in the 15th episode. He is none other than Jay Garrick???

If Zoom is Jay from the future, how can he still exist after killing himself in the past? I know that Timeline manipulation in Flash is weird. But beign able to kill yourself earlier is too much for me.

Can’t be Ronnie, he doesn’t have blue eyes. Plus the army code he was tapping. Info isn’t shared by him and Stein to that extent so far as the show has presented abilities. But it makes sense Jay’s father would have taught it to him his father being a vet.

I think you may have a point there !! What you say contradicts with one of my theories but it also supports the other 2. That’s the reason I’ve put 4. I’m trying to see if one of my guesses will be true…
