          Dexter- Complete Series Review

          Introduction

Is it remotely possible to feel bad for a Serial killer? This is what you’ll find out if you watch this series. Dexter is a show based on a Serial killer, but not just a normal one. He follows some “Rules”. He only kills those who deserve it ( And mind you, if I say they deserve it, they sure as hell did).

The series is set in Miami and focusses on Dexter Morgan, your normal “Blood splatter analyst” by day and “Blood thirsty Serial killer” by night. Working closely with the Miami Metro police department, he is able to figure out who slips through the nooks and crannies of the Police department and then he correct it himself.

          Forte:

          1. Character development. You can feel for each character, whether it be an innocent victim or a blood lusting Serial killer.
          2. Speed. The story progresses in each episode and there is no episode that does not have a compelling story.
          3. The narrative provided by┬áMichael C. Hall in his voice when he talks with his “Dark Passenger”. It’s a very unique way to express oneself.
          4. The suspense that is maintained till the very last episode of every season where everything falls into place.

          Weakness:

          1. A bit too Dark and Grimm for some but others might still like it, so this can be part of both.
          2. At times predictable, story line is bent in a way that Dexter can get out of it by the end of the season.
